One of my main focuses is on building and preserving your legacy. Portraits are vital to showing our heritage to other generations. Many times there have been stories of family histories lost because of floods, fire, or just not stored properly for preservation. So I am very excited to begin providing restoration services of those treasured photos.
Whether it is restoring a color image damaged, like the sample below, or returning a yellowed black and white photo to its original appearance. Tears, creases, folds, and other imperfections are carefully removed. If the print is framed and stuck to the glass, as was the example below, do not try to remove it. That usually causes more damage and increases the cost to restore it. Portraits can be photographed under glass, as needed.
All clients receive the retouched digital file and a complimentary printed portrait. So that you have twice the protection saving that memory.
Also, a tip to preserve what you may already have. Fire-proof safes are good for printed portraits, however, film negatives/slides, CDs, thumb drives, and any form of hard drive simply are baked and will be melted beyond use.
If you are interested in learning more, please contact me. Whether it is an old family portrait, maybe a particular holiday or vacation, or simply want more info of how to preserve your history, I'd love to be of service.
