I work in a studio and on-location so you could say that my studio can be wherever you need it to be. Whether that may be outdoors, at your home or work, or at a specific locale, location plays a large part in the story you want to portray. The majority of my clients prefer to begin at the studio for several portraits, then we go on to a second location.
What happens if we need to reschedule because of the weather or an emergency?
For any portrait session, if we have to reschedule, you always come first. We will look at what is the next available time that is convenient for everyone and I move the appointment. There is no rescheduling fee.
For events, in the event of cancellation or postponement of the event, the retainer fee is non-refundable. If your new date is available, I will apply your retainer to the new date.
What should we wear?
Wear what you are comfortable in and, by all means, what best represents you. In general, I recommend that clients stay with solid, even monochromatic, colors. Bold patterns and designs tend to be busy and distracting. You want people to see you first, not the striped dress or the logo brand on a shirt. Typically, clients bring three to eight wardrobe changes for their session. We’ll discuss all this in your complimentary consultation session.
So, after our portrait session, what happens then?
For portrait sessions, usually, about seven days after the session, we view your images on your TV or a laptop. This is the awesome part when you get to kick back and watch a slideshow of your best images. Bring along anybody who might have a part in the decision making process with you since this is when you will decide which images will be printed and what artwork you would like to order. At the end of your ordering session, you pay the first half of your balance. You can pay the other half when I deliver the finished order to you. Turnaround time is usually 6-12 weeks, depending on which type of artwork was purchased.
Are our images retouched?
All ordered images are professionally retouched before being presented to my clients. Skin, stray hairs, and blemishes are retouched, but I also want you to look like you. Of course, if something like an exit sign or power lines were unavoidable, those will be removed.
Do we get digital files?
All finished artwork includes a digital copy of ordered images.
How do I book a session?
That's easy! Let's talk! Click or call or email me to schedule your complimentary consultation at your home or office. We can go over your design ideas, different options of art that I offer, and pricing. Once we get the details of your session decided on, your booking fee is required to reserve your date.
