A Thank You for 2025

Before charging ahead into what’s next, I wanted to pause and say thank you to the people who made 2025 such a meaningful year to photograph.
Not just for the images, but for the trust, collaboration, and very real humans behind them
Thank you to the business owners who trusted me with how their work shows up in the world.
Branding sessions, team portraits, and content that actually gets used all start with clarity, collaboration, and a willingness to step in front of the camera even when it’s not your favorite place to be. I appreciate the vision you brought, the trust you placed in me, and the flexibility you showed as plans evolved mid-shoot.
Your work deserves to be seen well, and I’m grateful to have played a part in that.
Thank you to the families who welcomed me into moments that mattered.
Milestones, transitions, and everyday chapters don’t come with perfect timing or perfect behavior, and that’s precisely what makes them worth documenting. Thank you for embracing the process, the movement, the laughter, and the occasional chaos.
Real connection always wins over perfect, and it’s an honor to preserve those moments as they unfold.
Thank you to the nonprofits and community organizations doing work that truly matters.
Supporting your missions through photography is some of the most rewarding work I get to do. These sessions are about more than visuals. They’re about people, impact, and helping stories reach further than they could on their own.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute in a way that supports meaningful change.
And to the photographers who attended my lighting workshops this year, thank you.
Thank you for investing in your craft, asking thoughtful questions, experimenting boldly, and trusting me to help guide part of your creative process. Teaching lighting is as much about curiosity and problem-solving as it is about gear and technique, and the energy you brought into those rooms made the experience genuinely rewarding.
Watching you refine your skills, test new ideas, and leave with more confidence behind the camera was one of the highlights of my year. The work you’re doing matters, and I’m grateful you chose to spend some of your time learning alongside me.
Every project in 2025 was built on trust, collaboration, and a shared sense of optimism. This year wasn’t just about creating images, but about building relationships and showing up for people doing interesting, important, and heartfelt work.
Thank you to everyone who chose to work with me this year. I’m deeply grateful and excited for what’s ahead.
